John A. Reutter

	John A. Reutter, 93, of DuQuoin, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2001 at 5:45 p.m. at Elmwood Nursing Home in Aurora, Ill.
	Mr. Reutter was a retired businessman, much of his career was with Peabody Coal Co. in West Virginia and Illinois.  In addition, he was active in several individual business enterprises.  He was a life-ling member of the Elks Club, active in the Lions Club where he was past president in West Virginia and he was an active golfer.  He was an Accountant and a member of First Presbyterian Church in DuQuoin.
	He was born February 2, 1908 at St. Louis, Mo. the son of John aand Bertha (Rosin) Reutter.  He married Mary Elizabeth Libby Morgan on July 9, 1934 at Coldwater, Mich. and she preceded him in death on November 29, 1991.
	Surviving are one son, John Ronald Reutter of Aurora; two daughters, Maryln Erwin of Champaign and Erna Anita Aiello of Weston, Fla.; one sister, Erna Ottesen of Carbondale; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
	Funeral services were Friday, February 23 at 3 p.m. at Neal-McClure Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Dunn officiating.  Interment was in the IOOF Cemetery at DuQuoin.
	Friends may called at Neal-McClure Funeral Home Friday, February 23 from 2 p.m. until time of service.
